Walton Communities chooses Deluxe Athletics |

Walton Communities, which provides luxury apartment homes in a residential neighborhood environment around the Metro Atlanta Area, had a property in Austell, GA that had a very high traffic playground and recreation area. Walton Reserve, one of their larger communities, needed a low-maintenance solution, as with the steady year-round use, could not keep natural grass. |

Deluxe Athletics was contracted to install the DXT all-rubber system, utilizing the Thiolon XP fiber (the same tested and proven system used on athletic fields) on their 15,000 square foot playground and recreation area. The total area was comprised of four separate sections, and took approximately two weeks to complete the conversion from a high maintenance natural grass surface to a heavy-duty, infill cushioned synthetic turf. |

Since its installation, not only the families of the community have an area that can be used year-round for many different recreation and event applications, but local camps and programs for children in the area have been able to utilize it as well.
