Tournament Play Field Partners, LLC selected Deluxe Athletics to assist with the planning, oversee the construction, and design for “The Chuck” at Home Plate Baseball Academy in Peachtree City, Georgia. |
We are proud to have installed the first 100% synthetic rubber infilled turf baseball field in the state, at “The Chuck” for Home Plate Baseball Academy in Peachtree City,” says, Chris Daniluk, founder and president of Deluxe Athletics. The Deluxe Athletics’ team partnered with Tournament Play Field Partners to display the distinct advantages that an all synthetic turf baseball facility can provide for all different levels of play.

Deluxe Athletics was able to provide a premier facility design and management of the field project for Home Plate Baseball Academy. We are committed to providing the best quality materials for our players and Deluxe Athletics lead the process working with us to ensure the materials and installation was ready for season opening.”
Now completed, the 1.5 million dollar multi-use sports facility covers approximately 120,000 square feet of 100% rubber infilled material, utilizing a special clay colored turf for the designated field areas. Deluxe Athletics provided full installation of the Intensity Series for baseball and softball. The application is recognized by the industry as a leading synthetic turf product.
“We wanted the athletic field to be unique, a playing experience for our athletes that is remembered - a culture of development and uniqueness. The turf field will provide a quality surface durable enough for various levels of practice and training, including a variety of other sports,” says Hannon. The surface will remain consistent for year-round use, even during inclement weather.
The grand opening event at Thomas Charles Hannon Memorial Field, “The Chuck,” was a great event which showed excellent support from the community. There were stations for kids of all ages and abilities to enjoy. All in attendance were treated with former Cy Young award winner Steve Bedrosian, and current Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson on hand to throw the ceremonial first pitches together. Home Plate Baseball Academy and “The Chuck” are located at 611 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City, Georgia.
