DXT System Cross Section

SAFETY

For fields with heavy use from all types of play and practice, the all rubber systems have been more prevalent over the years. The DXT all rubber fields have proven to be the most consistenet G-Max level with the least amount of maintenance, guaranteed not to rise above a level of 135.
The addition of sand can be done in varying ratios. More sand equals a firmer field. Thought the field will be slightly tighter, faster surface, it will require regiular maintenance to keep the sand from separating from the mixture and significatly firming the field. With our recommened ratios, it is guaranteed not to rise above a level of 165.

With the DXT system, we work with our clients to make sure that the proper choice is made on the infill utilized to achieve all thier goals for the safety and performance. With the negative stigmas of the issues which revolved around older conventional  "carpet-like" styles of synthetic turf fading, the modern-day long fiber systems are not only saferm but can actually be far more superior to even natural grass fields as they have much more consistent footing, no matter what weather conditions may prevail.

The infill system used for your field will have a direct correlation on the G-Max levels, which is the industry standard on measuring the firmness of your field. The standard and proven infill processes that can be used are all rubber and sand and rubber. Each one has its benefits, and, depending on the application, its draw-backs. As noted in the study performed by Sports Turf Manager Magazine published in 2006.
